This is a 40-year-old woman from Chicago complaining of having a small breast. Preoperatively she was a size A brassiere and wished to become a full C in the postoperative state. Upon physical examination, she was found to be a good candidate for breast enhancement. Her postoperative pictures were taken one year following breast augmentation.

Upon physical examination, she was found to be slightly ptotic with the nipple-areola being along the lower aspect of the breast. However, the patient wished to avoid the scars associated with a breast lift. She and Dr. Sweis elected to proceed with sub-glandular (above the chest muscle) placement of Allergan Natrelle moderate profile round smooth 371 cc silicone implants style 15 using the inframammary crease incision. The photos were taken six weeks following breast augmentation.

Breast Reduction Patient #1
This is a 38-year-old woman from Chicago who presented complaining of having enlarged breasts. She suffered from associated neck pain, shoulder pain, shoulder grooving from the bra straps, and skin irritation along the breast crease, especially during the warm weather. Upon physical examination, she was found to have markedly large, dense breasts. Preoperatively, she wore a size 36G brassiere and wished to be a C or D cup post-operatively.
In view of her symptoms and physical findings, Dr. Sweis considered in the patient’s best interest to proceed with a bilateral breast reduction using the inferior pedicle approach. Her postoperative pictures were taken 7 months following breast reduction.
